Who is Eligible for Solarization Program for Tube Wells?
Farmers in Punjab can join this program. But not everyone can apply. There are some rules to follow:
- You must be a permanent resident of Punjab.
- You need a Kisan Card to register.
- You must own agricultural land in the same district where you apply.
- You need a valid CNIC and proof of land ownership.
- You should have an electric tube well that needs up to 15 KW of power.
- The tube well must be in use on or before March 31, 2024, and have a water depth of up to 60 feet.
- It must have a three-phase electrical connection.
How to Register for Solarization Program
The registration for the CM Solarization Program has not started yet. When it opens, the Punjab government will share all the details. You will find the application forms at the Deputy Director of Agriculture‘s office. After filling out the forms, return them to the same office. More information will be available when the program officially starts.
