History Of Benazir Kafaalat Program
The program started in 2008 by a lady named Benazir Bhutto. At first, it helped only widows (women whose husbands have died). Now, it helps many women and families who are having a hard time with money.

New Banks for Getting Money
Before, women could only get their money from Habib Bank Limited. Now, more banks are helping! Here are some of the new banks:

- Mobilink Microfinance/Jazz Cash
- Telenor Microfinance Bank
- HABIB BANK LIMITED
- HBL Microfinance
This way, women can get their money faster and easier.
How to Register for the Benazir Kafaalat Program
The president of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, said more women should join the program. They have made it easier to sign up. Women who need help can go to a BISP office near them. They will need:
- An identity card
- A children’s bay form
- A mobile phone number in their name
BISP also has mobile vans that can go to far places to help women sign up.
